Terms of Service

By creating an account, registering a participant or otherwise using this website, you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and, where you are registering others, on behalf of the school or participants you represent. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the service.

The service is operated by EduQuest Global. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the operator.

• You must give accurate and complete information when you register, and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for activity that takes place under your account.
• A school account may only be created by someone authorised to act for that school, and a school account holder is responsible for the accuracy of the participant details they submit.
• School accounts may require review and approval before they can be used to register participants.
• Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

The eligibility criteria, format, timing and any entry requirements for each competition are shown on this website for that competition. It is your responsibility to check that a participant meets the stated criteria before registering them.

A registration is confirmed once we have accepted it and, where a fee applies, verified the corresponding payment. We may decline or cancel a registration that does not meet the stated requirements.

• Where a competition has an entry fee, the amount and what it covers are shown at the point of registration.
• Payments are made by bank transfer, and you upload proof of the transfer so that we can verify it.
• A registration is not complete until we have verified the payment. We may reject a payment we cannot verify, and we will tell you why.
• You are responsible for any bank or transfer charges applied by your own bank.
• Any refund or cancellation terms for a competition are those stated for that competition at the time of registration.

Our competitions only mean something if they are contested fairly. When taking part, you agree not to:

• Impersonate another person, or allow someone else to take part in a participant's place.
• Copy from another participant, share answers, or use unauthorised assistance or materials during a contest.
• Copy, record, republish or distribute question papers or other competition materials.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the service, disrupt it, or interfere with other users.
• Submit false information, including false payment information.

Where we reasonably believe these rules have been broken, we may disqualify a participant, withhold or withdraw a result, certificate or award, and suspend or close an account. We will act proportionately and, where practical, explain our decision.

Results are determined by us using the marking approach set for the competition. We aim to assess every participant accurately and consistently, and our decision on results and awards is final, subject to any review process we publish for that competition.

Certificates and other recognition are issued to participants who meet the stated criteria. We may correct a result, certificate or ranking if we find an error, and we will tell the people affected if we do.

The content of this website, and our competition materials, including question papers, branding and certificate designs, belong to us or our licensors. You may use them only as needed to take part in a competition. You may not reproduce, distribute or make them available to others without our written permission.

Material you submit to us remains yours. By submitting it, you allow us to use it as needed to operate the service, run the competition and produce results and certificates.

We work to keep the website available and running correctly, but we cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or free of errors. We may suspend access for maintenance, or change or withdraw features. Where a change materially affects a competition you have already entered, we will tell participants.

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, or where we are required to do so by law. You may ask us to close your account at any time, although we may need to keep certain records as described in our Privacy Policy.

We provide the service with reasonable care and skill. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Otherwise, we are not responsible for losses that we could not reasonably have foreseen, for loss caused by matters outside our reasonable control, or for indirect losses. Where we are found liable in connection with a competition, our liability will not exceed the fee paid for that participant’s entry.

We handle personal information, including information about children, as described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last changed. Changes do not apply retrospectively to a competition that has already been completed, and where a change is significant we will take reasonable steps to bring it to your attention.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, and disputes relating to them are subject to the jurisdiction of its courts. If you are a consumer, this does not remove any protection you have under the law of the country where you live.
